Everyone wants the shortcut. I get it. I spent a decade chasing them.

Here is what the shortcuts taught me: the fast way is almost always the slow way wearing a costume. You skip the homework, you skip the reps, you skip the boring middle — and then the deal blows up, the house comes back, the client walks, and you do the whole thing over. Twice the work, half the trust.

Compounding is quiet

One zip code. Fifteen years. Nothing about it looked fast on any given Tuesday. But the reps stacked. The standard climbed. The name started doing work I used to have to do by hand.

The slow way is the fast way. You just cannot see it from the starting line.

Do the homework. Show up at 6am. Keep the lesson instead of the scar. That is the whole system.
