Build next month’s introductions.

Arrive with a clear request and a useful understanding of someone else’s work.

The next meeting is easier to use when you know what you want to learn. Review your current capacity and the kind of work you can take on. Update the situation that makes someone a good fit for your business.

Choose three people whose work you want to understand. Learn what they handle well, what they do not handle, and how they prefer to receive an introduction. Knowing someone’s category is a beginning. Knowing their fit makes your judgment more useful.

Look for one introduction with a real reason behind it. Ask permission before sharing contact details. Add the context both people need and avoid making a promise about someone else’s availability.

Book one follow-up when the other person agrees. Give it a purpose and a time. A short conversation with a clear question can be easier to finish than an open-ended promise to get together.

Bring what you learned back into the room. Keep private client details private. Share the useful standard: what made the handoff clear, what helped you respond, and what you will repeat. That is how the work between meetings informs the next one.
